Just price and taste (errrr stopping distance).
Back on subject slightly......are the EBC greens really less dusty??
So far I've found the standard brakes to be pretty good!
BUT, my BACK says I need a bit less dust on me front wheels when
replacement pad time comes.

Ive only had them on for about 400 miles and ive only just washed the car so difficult to tell. However there is a definite improvement with theses discs and pads, now I understand im comparing new to old but im sure they feel better than when the car was new. When I came off the M25 after my little trip to the Midlands, I broke late after a burst up the slip road, I dropped from about 90 to standstill very smoothly, not sure exactly what it was but deffo more reassuring than it was. I would need to drive another DS3 with new issued brakes to be sure but I think they are an improvement.

I'm using the EBC green stuff pads with the drilled and groved discs, i think there is actually more brake dust compared to the standard discs. This could be down to a few things such as: front heavy on brakes (rears are still standard), Heavy driving - done around 12,000 miles in the 3 months i've had the car and haven't washed it in a few weeks - Front wheels are now black (even the clear ali sections) while the rears are dark brown. And i also washed the car every 2 weeks when i first got it, it's now been nearer a month since i last washed it, so it might just be an illusion :-)

Update on the brakes with pictures showing amount of brake dust.
Considering that the rear brakes not used as heavy as the front, i think the photo shows that the front brakes (EBC Green Stuff) produce a lot less brake dust :-)
(Front EBC) (Rear Standard)
Brakes still work great; plenty left on the fronts. They have started to scrape intermittently as I drive along at low speeds, but no as bad as the standard ones before I swapped. I would recommend the swap to the EBC Drilled and grooved discs with the Green Stuff pads :Joni:

Just ordered a set of EBC Greenstuff pads for the THP. As per the service guide, a couple of bolts should be replaced on the front calipers. The dealer couldn't find a parts code for them and said they only come with a) OEM pad set, b) rubber seal set or c) sliding pin (what's the term?) set and they cost about 100 eur each. So: does the EBC package include the bolts or if not, did any of you replace the bolts when changing the pads? Or any parts code for the bolts? And yes, I am getting the work done in the dealer so no DIY

Noticed the difference with mine straight away Chris, the peddle seems more direct and there is zero fade when braking fairly hard if say coming off a motorway to a standstill. Very good in the wet, had to brake hard a couple of times when doing 70 and remained firm and direct.
